I was born one summers morning back in ‘89, which would make me 18 to date (or 19 if i’ve become really lazy and haven’t updated this in a long time). I was born in Wakefield, England - Where i’m still living i’m a nice and small community.
I decided to go ahead and give the college a miss and make a living online. By give it a miss, I mean getting the boot. I was always good in school.. got top marks, in the top sets. I guess when i found that you could make money online, i lost all interest in learning the cubic route of 578. Although i’d love to go to university to meet new people and ‘socialize’ and whatnot, I just don’t like all of the learning that comes with it. So be it. After two failed attempts at college, a decision was made that it was not to be.
So i’ve been making websites for some years now, I think back in 2003. Sure enough, the graphics and coding was horriffic, well horriffic compared to todays standards, but I seemed to enjoy it.. so i stuck at it. I did make some pretty naff websites to be honest, but it was all part of the learning curve. I’d now like to think of myself as a self proclaimed ‘design guy’ as i’ve seemed to work with graphics allot.. obviously owning a tutorial site or two in the past (of course?).. However no serious money was really made, but I did become preettyyy familiar with programs such as Adobe Photoshop/Imageready, Adobe Illustrator, Cinema 4D and Macromedia flash.
The website which really got me motivated was Coshed. This was a monster of a website, hitting 100,000 visitors a day. I spent so much time on this website, that college wasn’t as important as it once was and eventually it would defeat me and got me kicked out of college (So i sold the thing) and decided to invest some of the money. Now, by invest - I don’t mean cheap nights out on the town. Well actaully, i do. I bought myself a car, clothes.. you know.. all of that malarki.
I guess I should come to some kind of conclusion. I’ve tried to keep it ’short’ as most bloggers write really short about me pages, thinking noone wants to read them, but it’s all the rage so.. i’ll be no different.
Lo and behold, i have invested some of the money, so do not fear. Purchasing things such as nice domains, nice designs, nice coding and nice women (but really, i’m joking about the nice domains). For the past couple of months, i’ll admit i’ve been rather lazy, infact i’m probabally the best procrastinator you’ll ever meet. However revamping this blog is the first step to getting back on track and finishing some of the projects that I set out to do.
Enjoy your stay, and readings here. I hope you quickly come to the conclusion, that i’m not the same as the stereotypes that roam the internet today.. like allot of 13 year olds with proxy sites. Although i don’t like the word ‘entrepreneur’, i do invest allot of money into my projects, take allot of risks (like sitting in my underwear for two days straight).. and although i’m sure i do have a proxy site somewhere in my website storeroom, i assure you they are not all turnkey.
